A pipe penetrates a metal stud wall framed with cold-formed steel channel framing. The assembly includes a specified pipe sleeve surrounded by insulation, with the annular space packed with ceramic fiber and the ends sealed using mastic. Positive acting devices are positioned at the wall surfaces to complete the penetration assembly.
