Insulated duct supports are installed with continuous duct insulation and a protective jacket running between the duct and supports. Rectangular or oval ducts over sixty inches wide rest on weight-supporting insulation placed over trapeze hanger assemblies suspended by hanger rods. Round ducts twenty-four inches or smaller utilize hanging straps secured with nuts and bolts over continuous insulation with weight-supporting inserts. Round ducts over twenty-four inches use half-round trapeze hangers with weight-supporting insulation located beneath the duct insulation.
