A flexible duct connects to a supply diffuser set in a ceiling tile and grid system, secured at each end with a stainless steel draw band of half-inch minimum width. A balancing damper is located at the branch take-off. The flexible duct maintains a minimum radius of one and a half times the neck diameter at turns. When the flexible duct is five feet or longer, a draw band with a cable support attached to the structural slab above provides additional vertical support.
