A roof penetration is framed through the roof structure and deck, providing a level curb support for mechanical equipment. A prefabricated roof curb is flashed and counterflashed into the roof assembly with a minimum six hundred ten millimeter clearance. The roof hood features louver blades and houses a motorized damper, and is securely fastened to the top of the roof curb.
