A rectangular main duct transitions into a branch duct via a forty-five degree takeoff angle with a six-inch offset. A balancing damper is installed within the rectangular portion of the branch before transitioning to a round runout duct. The connection is restricted for use only at the last takeoff before outlets and exclusively where round runouts are indicated on the drawings.
