An eighteen by eighteen by eight inch concrete mounting block bears on an existing roof over rigid insulation, verified with the isolator manufacturer. An acoustical non-skid neoprene pad sits atop the concrete pad beneath the spring isolator with a seismic snubber. Bolts secure the isolator through the counter flashing into the concrete, with all penetrations sealed with waterproof mastic. Neoprene washers are provided at the bolted connections. Flashing with a cant strip integrates the concrete pad into the existing roofing assembly.
