Combustion air intake and exhaust pipes penetrate the roof assembly with a minimum twenty-four-inch horizontal separation. The exhaust pipe terminates with an approved vent terminal outlet positioned a minimum of thirty-six inches above the combustion air inlet. The intake pipe features a gooseneck elbow termination equipped with a birdscreen. Roof penetrations are flashed per architectural details, with pipe sizes verified against manufacturer specifications.
