A pre-manufactured equipment support curb, specifically a 14-gauge Pate Model ES-5, mounts on a concrete and metal deck assembly. The support features a 6x pressure-treated wood nailer within the curb, with a minimum 6-inch width at the top. The roofing membrane extends up and under the support cap, integrating with the roof insulation system specified in the architectural drawings. The curb is secured to the concrete deck using 3/8-inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ expansion anchors with a 2-1/2 inch embedment spaced at 12 inches on center on each side, requiring a minimum of two anchors per side.
