An automatic air separator connects to piping lines extending toward the pump suction, featuring an automatic air vent mounted on top with a discharge pipe routed to a floor drain. A shut-off valve and a union are installed on the vertical riser and on the horizontal lines leading to the pump suction to allow for maintenance and isolation.
