The assembly consists of an extruded aluminum roof exhauster penthouse supported by an insulated prefabricated curb. The curb is installed on a level surface prepared by the general contractor. Roof flashing is integrated at the base of the curb to ensure a weather-tight transition to the roof deck. A gravity backdraft damper is positioned within the roof opening to regulate airflow and prevent reverse circulation.
