A vertical pipe passes through a roof slab within a pipe sleeve embedded in concrete, surrounded by roof insulation and a 1/2-inch by 1/4-inch seal ring at the deck level. The pipe is enclosed by pipe insulation and secured with a split band set in mastic. A copper flashing collar fits tightly around the insulated pipe above a matching counter flashing that extends up from the roof membrane.
