Thermostats, carbon dioxide sensors, or other zone sensors mount on the wall at a height of 48 inches from the finished floor to the top of the device. Multiple adjacent sensors or switches maintain a 4-inch spacing between devices. The nearest edge of the sensor assembly maintains a 12-inch horizontal clearance from the strike side of the door jamb.
