A piping run crosses a building seismic joint using an inline flexible-hose packless expansion joint configured with a vertical loop to accommodate structural movement. The pipe penetrates the wall through a standard pipe sleeve on one side and an oversized pipe sleeve on the other side at the seismic gap. Pipe hangers are positioned at multiple locations along the elbows to support the offset configuration. A typical pipe anchor is located on the straight run adjacent to the flexible connection to restrain thermal expansion and movement.
