A hydronic water pipe is suspended from an overhead roof truss using a pipe hanger C-clamp attached to the structural framing. A threaded hanger rod connects the clamp to a standard clevis assembly secured with double nuts. The pipe is wrapped in continuous calcium silicate saddle insulation below the pipe with a sheet metal sleeve. This detail applies to pipe sizes six inches and smaller.
