The nameplate features equipment designation lettering one-half inch high and equipment description lettering one-quarter inch high. Emergency power nameplates use red backgrounds with white fill lettering, while normal power nameplates use white backgrounds with black fill lettering. The nameplate is attached using two screws, exemplified by designation EF-5.
