A thermostat with a lockable cover connects to the heat pump unit as indicated by the wiring diagram. All heat pump units, thermostats, and breakers must be labeled sequentially such as H/P-1, H/P-2, and H/P-3. Rooftop units are required to be stenciled accordingly.
