Suspension and ductwork connection for a fan coil unit hung from cinder concrete slabs, Republic arch concrete beams, or steel deck assemblies. Approved expansion bolts such as BSA #461-635M or scissor-type hanger hooks anchor 1/8-inch by 1-inch galvanized steel hangers or secure directly to reinforcing rods. Three-eighth-inch diameter minimum threaded hanger rods equipped with hex nuts and lock washers suspend the unit using four typical rods per assembly. Fan vibration isolators connect between the rods and the unit as specified, while flexible connections join the motor-fan assembly to the adjacent ductwork.
