An in-line pump is suspended below a structural wide flange beam using a beam clamp supplied by the mechanical contractor. A threaded rod extends downward from the beam clamp through a spring isolator sized and installed by the mechanical contractor. The threaded rod connects to a C channel support located beneath the pump assembly. A minimum three-quarter-inch thick rubber isolation pad is mounted below the pump against the C channel support. Water piping connects to both sides of the inline pump.
