Hydronic piping is supported from the building structure using hanger rods equipped with optional Type 48 spring isolators and protective saddles as specified. Uninsulated and insulated pipes rest on angle iron or Unistrut trapeze supports, or on manufactured roof pipe supports featuring sheet metal shoes for pipes greater than or equal to two and a half inches in diameter. Insulation and vapor barriers are applied as required by specifications. Individual pipe runs utilize Type 1 clevis hangers attached strictly to the structural framing rather than the roof deck.
