An inline pump is mounted on a four-inch thick concrete housekeeping pad that extends a minimum of three inches larger than the pump base on all sides. The pump sits on vibration isolators and must be installed dead level without making direct contact with any part of the building structure. Piping assemblies include a suction diffuser with strainer pull space, a compound pressure gauge with globe or needle valves, check valves, and isolation valves. Flexible connections utilize double sphere EPDM rubber flex connections and flanged union type fittings with a three-quarter inch drain valve and hose connection.
