Rectangular duct transitions connect different duct profiles while maintaining a maximum slope of one inch in four inches. A rectangular-to-round transition joins a rectangular duct to a round duct using tapered side panels. Both configurations maintain centerline alignment and slope limits to minimize airflow resistance.
