A spiral duct connects to a sheet metal elbow and terminates at a ceiling diffuser, which is attached with sheet metal screws spaced approximately 9 inches on center. The entire assembly is suspended below a concrete deck and metal roof deck using typical 1-inch by 22-gauge metal bands secured with typical screws. Seismic straps are provided for lateral restraint.
