A thermostatic tempering valve installed beneath a counter-mounted sink regulates mixed tempered water temperature delivered to the fixture via half-inch hot and half-inch cold water supply connections. A one-and-one-quarter-inch outside diameter tailpiece routes the discharge from the fixture drain. The assembly is positioned above the finished floor level relative to the counter mounting height.
