Transverse and longitudinal four-way bracing for ceiling-hung mechanical equipment. The assembly consists of a support member holding the ceiling-hung equipment, augmented by support rods with rod stiffeners and diagonal cable braces. The cable braces anchor at angles between 30 and 90 degrees in elevation and 45 degrees in plan view to restrict lateral movement. Typical cable connections secure the brace members to the overhead structure and to the braced components.
