A rectangular main duct transitions to a 45-degree rectangular tap-in with a rectangular duct connection. A balancing damper equipped with a locking quadrant is installed directly below the tap-in. A 2-inch duct extension is provided to allow operation of the damper without damage to insulation. A flexible duct transition connects downstream, limited to a maximum length of 5 feet.
