A vertical duct stack is supported by structural purlins sized per the architectural and structural plans. Clamp plates and flanged duct collars secure the ductwork to the supporting steel framing. Fasteners secure the clamp plates across the duct flanges. A general note references structural sheet A1/S-408 for additional framing coordination.
