Rectangular duct fittings include square elbows with double radius turning vanes and a minimum radius equal to duct width w. A forty-five degree entry branch take-off features a manual damper positioned at least zero-point-five w from the main duct, with a transition radius of zero-point-two-five w or four inches minimum. Square elbows require round elbows where specified on plans. Double radius turning vanes direct airflow through the ninety-degree turns.
