A 4-inch compressed air main drops down via a 1 1/4-inch pipe to supply a tool station assembly located 5 feet above the finished floor. The drop incorporates a ball valve, a drain cock, and additional ball valves before feeding through a strainer, a pressure-reducing valve set to 100 psig, a pressure gauge, and a lubricator. This conditioned line transitions to a 4-inch header manifold positioned 4 feet above the floor with weld-o-lets spaced at 8 inches on center typically. Four 1/2-inch drops equipped with Dixon Model 452-4PF quick-disconnect fittings serve individual tools, and a final 1/2-inch drop includes a drain.
