The support assembly for insulated refrigeration piping is mounted against a horizontal metal stud shaft wall. A B-Line B22 structural channel runs vertically at four-foot on-center spacings and is secured to the wall studs using two three-eighths-inch diameter sheet metal screws with a minimum two-and-one-quarter-inch embedment. Unistrut P1326 three-hole corner angles attach a sheet metal cover to the channel using two number ten by three-quarter-inch tek screws at the shaft. Insulated refrigerant liquid and suction lines are supported by B-Line B2000 pipe clamps with bolts and nuts sized as required. A sixteen-gauge, six-inch-long sheet metal sleeve is provided at the pipe clamp for typical insulated piping.
