A manual air vent assembly is installed at the highest point of a piping system to release trapped air. The assembly connects to a pipe diameter of four inches with a ten-inch maximum, maintaining an upward pitch toward the vent. Components include a manual air vent, a strainer, a quarter-inch ball valve, a quarter-inch brass nipple, and a reducer. Continuous thermal insulation wraps the entire riser and main pipe assembly.
