An in-line pump is installed with a shut-off valve and a strainer featuring a ball valve blowdown and threaded hose connection on the suction side. Gauge cocks are positioned upstream and downstream of the pump, connected to a 0-20 psi pressure gauge. The discharge side includes a swing-type check valve followed by a circuit setter with readout ports and a final shut-off valve.
