A variable air volume terminal unit connects to hot water supply and distribution lines using a three-way control valve assembly. Piping connects to the top of distribution lines and includes a manual air vent and typical ball valves for isolation. A balancing valve regulates flow through the coil, and threaded pipe connections may require strainers depending on project requirements. A half-inch ball valve with a threaded hose connection is provided on the return piping.
