Wall-mounted temperature sensors and controls maintain a maximum reach height of forty-six inches for side approaches and forty-four inches for front approaches when positioned over a counter with knee space per California Building Code 11B-306. Obstructions extending up to twenty-four inches from the wall allow a maximum counter height of thirty-four inches beneath the control device.
