An inline fan is suspended below concrete slabs or Republic Arch concrete beams using four 3/8-inch diameter minimum threaded hanger rods secured with hex nuts and lock washers. The hangers anchor directly into the concrete slab using approved expansion bolts such as BSA #461-635M, or secure around reinforcing rods with 1/8-inch by 1-inch galvanized steel hangers or scissor-type hanger hooks. Fan vibration isolators are installed along the hanger rods per project specifications to reduce noise and movement transmission. Flexible connections link the inline fan housing to incoming and outgoing ductwork on both sides.
