A concrete housekeeping pad is placed on top of a structural concrete slab to support mechanical equipment. The pad is reinforced with number four rebar spaced at twelve inches on center in both directions. Three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch anchor bolts are embedded into the structural slab at four feet on center. The pad maintains a minimum height of three and one-half inches, or as required for seismic anchors, and extends a minimum of six inches beyond the equipment on all sides.
