An intermediate structural steel angle measuring 4x4x1/4 inches is welded with a 3/16-inch fillet weld to a hollow structural section member per plan. An additional angle of size per plan provides support beneath a concrete fill over metal pan floor assembly. The components are secured using three-sixteenth inch fillet welds as indicated by the weld symbols on the structural detail.
