This piping schematic details the hydronic water supply and return connections for a terminal unit heating or cooling coil. The layout incorporates automatic flow control assemblies, pressure/temperature wells or Pete's Plugs, shut-off valves, flexible connections, and an automatic air vent at high points. A three-quarter inch threaded hose drain valve with cap is provided on the return line. The supply and return piping must be installed in the same plane without blocking access doors or other components.
