Suspended mechanical equipment is stabilized using a seismic cable bracing assembly kit connected to structural supports. The assembly incorporates 1/8-inch 7x19 galvanized aircraft cables secured with cable clamps, installed hand taut without slack. Upper and lower brackets are attached using slotted washers and anchor bolts or threaded rods provided by the contractor. Rod stiffener clamps and vertical limit stops by M.W. Sausse and Company are included where required for vibration-isolated equipment installations.
