A twelve-inch wide concrete curb is anchored to an insulated built-up roof slab and capped with sheet metal flashing. One-and-five-eighths-inch structural struts mounted with five-eighths-inch expansion anchors support multiple piping runs spaced ten feet on center. Six-inch and smaller pipes utilize calcium silicate insulation inserts with strut pipe clamps, while eight-inch and larger pipes utilize welded insulation protection saddles with strut pipe clamps. Spacing requirements mandate six inches between pipe insulation outer diameters, two inches between pipes, and six inches from the curb edge.
