Multiple typical direct expansion pipes penetrate the faceplate of a base with a skirt mounted to the roof assembly, which is installed by the general contractor. Expanding foam seals the annular space around each pipe where it passes through the faceplate. A removable lid covers the top of the base assembly to allow access to the interior penetrations.
