An inverted bucket trap is installed within a high and medium pressure steam piping configuration operating between 20 and 100 psig. A full-size drip leg extends downward with a minimum clearance of six inches below the main line. Piping slopes toward the drip leg to collect condensate before reaching the trap assembly. Valves and unions flank the trap to allow for isolation and maintenance.
