Metal deck panels bear on a wide flange steel beam and connect with puddle welds per detail 9/S600. A full width sheet meets a cut sheet with specified clearances of one and one-quarter inches minimum. An eighteen gauge plate is incorporated at the deck joint, and seam attachments secure the adjacent deck profiles parallel to the framing.
