An acid-resistant flexible connection assembly joins the exhaust fan inlet to ductwork with a required system transition. The galvanized flexible connection features an Eisenheiss coating and is secured with stainless steel sheet metal screws or blind rivets spaced at a maximum of fifteen inches with a minimum of three fasteners per joint. The duct joint is sealed with silicone, and a grounding wire bridges across the flexible connection.
