Seismic wire rope cable bracing is arranged in a four-way sway pattern around ceiling-hung equipment supported on framing members. Vertical support rods connect the equipment support member to the building structure above. The diagonal wire rope braces are oriented at a typical forty-five-degree angle in plan view. The vertical angle of the sway cables ranges from thirty to ninety degrees per project tables.
