A flexible duct connects the supply air source to a plenum with acoustical lining, incorporating an inline volume damper for airflow control. The flexible duct has a maximum length of five feet and is secured with stainless steel flexible duct clamps over the duct jacket insulation at each collar connection. A bead on the duct collar prevents the flexible duct from slipping off. The plenum connects directly to a linear diffuser flush with the ceiling plane. Duct hangers support the ductwork from the overhead structure, while a seismic strap provides lateral bracing for the diffuser assembly.
