A 3/4-inch make-up water line connects into the mechanical piping system serving the boiler and associated equipment. The layout includes inline valves, strainers, pressure gauges, unions, and flow control devices as indicated by the schematic symbols. Vertical and horizontal pipe runs distribute fluid through specialized components identified by tags AS 2, tag 17, tag 19, and tag 10.
