A ceiling-mounted fixture installs with an airtight seal at the perimeter. The assembly interfaces with a t-bar lay-in ceiling on one side and a surface mount ceiling with a one-inch border on the other. An airtight seal is applied at the junction between the fixture and the ceiling plane.
