A grinder hood features a table surface with an integrated circular disc and slot connecting to a forty-five degree exhaust duct. A blast gate is installed along the vertical duct section to regulate airflow from overhead exhaust or to a dedicated dust collection system. Sizing and location of the overhead duct are coordinated per architectural and mechanical plans.
