A main supply duct connects to an air terminal unit via a conical tee, a branch duct of diameter DB, and a transition fitting leading to the unit inlet of diameter DI. A multi-point velocity sensor sits at the inlet of the air terminal unit, which contains an integrated controller. A minimum of five feet of low-pressure supply duct is required downstream of the unit before the supply air diffuser. Per the provided notes, a minimum of four duct diameters of straight duct must be maintained at the inlet, or a flow straightener must be installed if this condition cannot be met. Branch duct sizing is determined by the run length and elbow count, with DB equal to DI plus two inches if the run exceeds fifteen feet or includes two or more elbows.
