The medium pressure gas line steps down through a gas pressure regulator into a low pressure gas distribution network. The assembly incorporates a six inch sediment trap with a removable cap, multiple unions for maintenance access, and typical gas cocks for isolation. Two one-eighth inch National Pipe Thread plugged tappings are provided for test gage connections, spaced a minimum of ten pipe diameters apart. A gas vent extends through the roof, sized per the regulator manufacturer requirements, terminating with a screen at least twelve inches above the roof surface and eighteen inches above the flashing. The vent must be located a minimum of ten feet away from outside air intakes.
